More Halloween Fun Projects

There is just no end to the projects that can be done for the fall holidays.  The kids love them.  And I love them also.  Check out a few more ideas that you may not have seen.

Gallon containers from water or milk are perfect for this Halloween project, but any clear container of any size will work just fine.  All you need for this one is the container, a marker that will work on the plastic and glow sticks.  This is a fun decoration that you can use for numerous nights just by replacing glow stick.  One more thought, if you want to play with colors, just combine colors, like the blue and pink for a nice shade of purple.  Or the red and yellow for an orange.  This would be a fun little lesson for the little kids.

Who doesn't love Tinker Bell?  Who would think that it could be so easy to have her on a pumpkin this Halloween?  Check out these simple photo instructions.  Think about  how easy it is to make a variety of hole sizes with the drill.

This is just a fun look for the pumpkins.  With a bit of creativity, you could do this with gourds too, and even for Thanksgiving week.  Make sure you preserve you pumpkin.  Check out this post to find out how.

Want to have a unique candle holder that will fit into your holiday decor?  With this concept you can change out every month, throw away the old ones and know that you haven't spent a fortune.  Going to a holiday event that you want to take a little hostess gift?  This would work for that too.  And you'll look like such a generous guest!

This look will take a bit of talent so I would start practicing now if you want to have it down by Halloween party time.  If you look closely you can tell how simple some of the lines are.  Others - not so much.  Worth the time and effort?  I think it would be.

Last of all, I'll throw in one food item.  I love the food stuff and tend to go over board, which is exactly what I will do in the next couple of days.  I've got so many fun cakes to share.  This is sort of a cute idea.  You can use this concept with a piece of bread that you are going to brown in a toaster over, oven, or fry pan.  But, like here in the pic, you can slice a large sweet potato and cut your design into the slice.  The lightly brown in olive oil and sprinkle lightly with garlic salt for an amazing treat.  You can also avoid the frying part and line these up on cookie sheet, after applying a bit of butter or olive oil, and again a tad bit of garlic salt or sea salt, and bake til brown.

Back in a couple of days with great Halloween cake ideas.  Some simple.  Some needing you to put on the creative hat.
