Food Foods For Summer Break

Are you counting down the days?  You know the kids are.  Start planning the little fun things to do for the kids during the summer, starting with fun food.  So often the kids get bored and just want to munch and eat.  Offer them fun and nutritious snacks to guide them in the right direction.

Here's a few examples.

Fruit and veggies can be fun.  And who could resist these characters?

This is a great idea for when you have the teens around.  They will be sure to wipe out this creation
in no time at all.  And lovin' it.

These are just crazy and simple.  I think - if you have little ones in the house and older kids too,
the older kids may have fun making these goodies for the younger ones.

Great way to start the day!  This little breakfast bear is made with rice but that could be replaced with thickened oatmeal or grits or - let your imagination take you away.  If you are meat eaters, you could place a little chunk of sausage under the blanket of egg, or even a biscuit if you want to omit the meat.  I believe that once you make one of these, it will be super simple.

All I have on this one is the pic and no instructions.  I guess you can see most of what you need just with what we have here.  No matter - you will need to be a real artist to pull this one off.
Face it - even if your creations don't look exact, your kids will love them anyway.
