Tie Dye Waffles

You don't have to be from the Hippy generation of the 70's to think this is a fun little project.  Is you are a waffle maker, you will enjoy the possibilities.   If you are a pancake maker, you can apply the same concept to add color to your morning creations.

 

Simply add a little food coloring to the pancake/waffle batter, pour into a squeeze bottle, cut the tip or to where it is large enough for the batter to come out easily,  and pour onto your griddle or waffle maker, for a beautiful treat.  You don't have to make it a round design like in the photo, you can make any design. 

Also consider making holidays colors.  My grand daughters, who love July 4th celebrations will love doing these in red, white and blue.
