This tree ornament will be beautiful on your tree, hung from garland or absolutely the neatest gift for a grandparent ever. And think about the cost. For you, maybe a single buck. For the grandparent, it will be a priceless memento of the year.
Again with the little decoration that cost almost nothing to make. If you are like most of us, by now we have just about spent all of our holiday allotment and are still looking at a list of items to purchase. So - having a decorating project for the kids, or the kid side of the adults, that doesn't have us reaching deep into our pockets is perfect. This item I will be using as a cut little package topper with a name tag attached. Now I will have a decorations and some added little perk to the gifts.
Just as crazy cute as the sock monkey
Live in an area with a ton of snow? This snowman mailbox is perfect to light up the neighborhood, especially the mailman. No snow? Make it with styrofoam or fiberfill and fabric.
Still on the funny snowman line, this is another real fun one.
Do you have kids who have great imaginations and love to pretend? This cardboard box fireplace is perfect for the bedroom or playroom. Let them make construction paper stockings and they will be entertained for hours.
A bit of self decorating could be fun, if you have a fun and brave daughter as part of the household.
Maybe if the adults set the example, the kids will follow suite. After all, the holidays are all about fun. Right? What could be more fun then a reindeer on your head?
Do you have those great old style lights? The really big and impressive ones? I wish I did for a could reasons. First, because they are rare and impressive. Second, when they burn out you can decorate them, add a hook, and place them on the tree. Fun stuff!
Face it - with ten days til Christmas, you are probably rushing to get all decorating done before it is time for guest and just maybe you will try some of these great ideas. If you have others, please share.
