Simple Touch Equals Happy Baby

Could simple accupressure and massage be the answer to having a happy baby?  And a happy home?

I have so many babies in my life right now.  A good friend just had a little guy last week.  And my Niece is about to pop any day.  Not to mention my 12 month Great Grandson and a half dozen friends who have pre-toddlers and new borns.

It is so tough to see everyone going thru the frustrations of not knowing what to do when a baby is upset or stressed.  Are they gassy or bored or do their little muscles ache?   Any little bit of info that I can find and share, I will.

Baby feet are adorable.  You can play with them and kiss on them and they love it.  When you look at this chart, is it any wonder that you put a smile on a little guy's face, when you play with their toes?  check it out -

Do you have a baby with sleep issues?  If we think about all the reasons that we, as adults, have sleepless nights, and relate them to babies, we may begin to get a grasp on how to help our little ones.

I found the following in on a great website -

Better baby sleep from the Chinese perspective is a very different approach than most Americans practice. Modern sleep advice for babies is an incredibly contentious subject as any trip to the bookstore will demonstrate. There are books on the many different behavioral modification methods from the cry it out approaches to the attachment parenting styles. And go to any online parenting discussion board and there will be heated discussions between parents who defend their choice of baby sleep method.

Regardless of parenting style and culture there are many benefits to families in implementing Chinese Medicine techniques in improving sleep because they alter the energetics of sleep and focus on physiology rather than behavior.

Check out more in from Expert Beacon by clicking right HERE.  They seem to really have some great info to share.

I also found a blog that is pretty interesting for anyone who has an infant in their lives.  Sort of neat.  Not sure that we can know for sure that the suggestions are all accurate, but they seem pretty safe to try.

Check out Tripi's blog - and some of her info.

I am sure that there are a lot of experienced parents/grand parents out there with great suggestions.  I would love to hear and share them all.  Please feel free to share.
