First thought - these are so darn cute!
Second - how would I keep them from draining on my counter?
It will be worth the thought and effort to find a way. It appears that there is a plastic cup inserted in the top of the planter. Obviously the bottom of the cup is cut out for drainage and for the roots to grow. So water will drain out the bottom when watered. I would guess, by putting a bowl under them until the dripping stopped, the problem would be solved. Or maybe lining with a sheet of absorbing foam in the bottom would help.
Worth the effort? I will know after I make a few and see how it works. Of course, I will let you all know.
