Strawberry Snake For Dessert

As the weather warms up in the desert, the snakes will start to appear.  Seems like a perfect time to educate the kids about snake safety, remind the adults on how to avoid an ugly encounter with these reptile, and share this fun dessert. 

Simple and cute as can be.  You can use pound cake (my favorite) or any cake type sweet bread, cut to the s shape of a snake.  You don't have to be exact in any way.  Just any snaky type shape.  Then you just layer as shown in the photo, cake, strawberries, and frosting or Cool Whip.  Trim out the face and you have a snake.
