Way Too Easy Breakfast On The Go

When I saw photo, I thought -  why did I never think of this?!  With all the times that I have thought long and hard about a way to make an 'on the go' breakfast, that isn't as useless as a toaster pastry, why didn't I think of this. 

In my family, we have filled crescent rolls with just about everything you can imagine.  There's the smoky links, the chocolate chips, actually all kinds and flavors of baking chips, cinnamon and sugar, ham, cheese - you name it we have done it. 

Why did I never think of adding the slice of apple to the cinnamon, brown sugar and the little bit of butter?
