How To Remove a Splinter

We all have our little first aid tricks but here is one that I had never seen and want to share.

Splinters have no preference when it comes to who they should attack.  Sweet little children get them when playing.   Adults get them during work and play.  This tip should work for everyone.

Apply baking soda and water to the area of the splinter and wait a few minutes.  With a little luck, if the skin in the area is not too tough, the splinter should pop out enough to easily grab with a pair of tweezers.
