spiders
the flu
and of course
the kids
It happens every years so we should not be surprised but we should be prepared. Here's a few little hints on what make the situation a bit better.
Let's keep the spiders out without filling the house with toxic substances. Keep it natural and it smells like winter too.
Next the flu. We see all over the new media that we all need to get those yearly flu shots. But what if you are one of those people who can not have the shots or just prefer to not go that route and you end up with the flu. What now? Check this out.
Doesn't sound the most delicious but I know when I have been sick, I am after results and not taste. These suggestions came from StepIntoMyGreenWorld.com. I'll check back there for more info to share.
And then there are the kids who may like to play in the snow but what about the times when it is cold and windy and just plain nasty. The kids get bored and irritated and are so darn willing to share this with you.
If you can't make it to the library or they need entertainment when you are busy, check out these web sites for a starter.
Hands on projects are great. Great for hand eye co-ordination. Good for them to learn independence. And always great to see them proud of their completed projects. I will be doing a small series with some unique ideas for all ages of kids, very soon. Check back next month for that.
Get winterized and stock up on peppermint, apple cider vinegar and honey.
