Watering Tip - Splash Point

Short and sweet - when watering your patio plants or garden, avoid the washing away of the soil by using a splash point piece.
Something simple works.  It can be a small piece of wood partially buried in the dirt so it doesn't wash away or a small rock or even a shell souvenir from a recent vacation.  If you choose the shell, make sure you have rinsed it well to rid it of all the salts.

Simply let the water hit your chosen item to take the hit.  And if you have little kids helping, they will enjoy the 'target practice' and you will be certain to have water where you want it.
